other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers

How We Use the Information We Hold On You
We require this information for legal reasons and to understand your needs and provide you with a better service:
We use your home address as part of the card payment processing to validate the card.
We use your e-mail address to send you confirmation of your holiday booking and receipts for payments.
We send an e-mail with more details on how to find us and other information you may find useful during your stay.
We will not contact you by telephone unless in an emergency and/or we have been unable to contact you by e-mail.
For legal reasons we store your information for 7 years.
We may use the information to improve our products and services.

We are committed to ensuring that any information you give us is secure. We take appropriate measures to safeguard the information we hold from unauthorised access or improper use.
Our database is stored in a secure, password protected location. Only users authorised by us have access to this data all of the personal and debit/credit card data you supply us with as part of the booking process is stored securely on a third-party booking system. We will not share your information with any third party unless there is a legal reason to do so.

CCTV Surveillance Cameras
We have CCTV surveillance cameras around the farm. One looks at the farm yard entrance, one covers the farmyard and some cover the barns none of the cameras are pointed into guest bedrooms. We use these cameras for the security of our property, ourselves, our staff, our animals, our guests and our guests’ property.
The data is recorded securely on a local hard drive and is only kept for 10 days.
The only people to have access to this data are owners, Graham and Catherine Vint. The data can only be accessed via computer and an app on our smartphones, all of which are password protected.

COVID-19 POLICY
In the event of the Covid-19 situation around the country deteriorating we reserve the right to cancel bookings in order to safeguard our guests, our family and our community.
Any deposits will be repaid should this occur and we wish to close our business again, but we will not be liable for finding alternative accommodation or compensation for the holiday.
We will endeavour to follow all good practice for the prevention of the spread of Covid-19 from thorough ventilation to thorough cleaning via safe practice.
